Line Study
I have always liked the concept of how hair changes its form from dry to wet and while this may be an abstract version of some loose hairs on wet skin (which is hardly an abstract concept!), the bluishness came about automatically and seemed to make the color contrast work better.

It’s Hurricane Season
This design orignially started as a fractal swirl but after adding color and texture, it struck me as a storm. Mostly here in the Gulf Coast hurricanes are predicted with a rather bland white coloring since they’re mostly over water and there’s nothing but a cloud mass. I chose to depict this hurricane on more of a human representation of what a hurricane is, does and the savagery of the result.
